Jon has been doing this since before some of his customers owned a house.
J and L Graveling Painting has been registered and working out of Rangeville since 2000. Around town people call him Jon, Jono or Jonathan depending on how long they have known him, which tells you most of what you need to know about how the work comes in.
One family have used him for twelve years on their bed and breakfast, and their father used him before that. Another customer says she has no trouble handing over the keys to her own home. That is the sort of thing that takes decades to earn and about a week to lose.
The jobs run from a single garage door through to a hundred year old Queenslander taken back inside and out. No job too big or small is Tanya Bedo's phrase, not ours.

Interior painting
Walls, ceilings, trim, doors and window frames. Jon has painted the inside of Toowoomba homes for more than twenty five years, including full interiors on period houses.
Exterior painting
Render, weatherboard, brick, fascia and gables. Prepped properly first, because on a Toowoomba exterior the preparation is most of the job.
Roof coating and restoration
Tile roofs cleaned back and re-coated, terracotta or charcoal. Finished coverage right across the roof, not just the face you see from the street.
Queenslander restoration
Full interior and exterior work on older homes. The most recent was a Queenslander over a hundred years old, taken back and brought up properly.
Water blasting and prep
Paving water blasting and re-paint blasting. Surfaces stripped back and cleaned so the new coat has something honest to hold on to.
Deck repair and re-coating
Timber repaired where it needs it, then re-coated. Repair work alongside painting is part of the service, not a separate trade you have to chase.
A roof is the one part nobody checks until it is too late.
Tile roofs get cleaned back and re-coated, in terracotta or in charcoal slate. The coverage goes right across the roof, over the ridges and down the far pitch, not just the face that happens to be visible from the footpath.
Water blasting and re-paint blasting are part of the same service, because a coat over a dirty tile is money wasted and both of you know it within two summers.

Cream walls, white trim, no mess left behind.
Interior work is walls, ceilings, sash windows, door frames and skirting. On period houses that means a lot of careful cutting in around timber that has been painted over a dozen times already.

We own a B&B we have been using jono for the 12 years that we have owned the property and my father has been using Jono before then. What can i say Jono is the most trusted trades person we have. He always shows up when he says he will, finishes the job on time and on budget with quality that is hard to find these days, he is honest and i have no problem leaving the keys to my personal residence with him. And to top it he is one hell of a nice guy. I can highly recommend J&l Graveling painting if you want the job done right and on time.

Jon has done interior and exterior painting plus repair works work for me in the past and has proved to be an excellent tradesman. His exterior and interior painting is professional and with that old school air. The work is fast, affordable and always with pleasing results. The skills on offer include paving water-blasting, re-paint blasting plus deck repair and re-coating.
